Variable Attenuator
CNI offers two types of variable attenuators to meet different application needs. The circular variable attenuator features a linearly varying optical density across a 0°–270° sector, enabling maximum adjustment of light energy. Meanwhile, the square variable attenuator provides a linearly adjustable optical density along its extended edge direction, also allowing for optimal control of light intensity.

Electrically Adjustable Attenuator
The electrical attenuator provides polarization-dependent attenuation and boasts advantages such as a wide attenuation range, high damage threshold, and excellent attenuation accuracy. It can be controlled via host computer software, allowing precise adjustment of the final laser output energy—enabling continuous, dynamic attenuation from 0 dB up to several dozen dB.
