Solid-State Light Engine


A Solid-State Light Engine (SLE) is an advanced lighting system that utilizes solid-state lighting technology, primarily based on Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) or Laser Diodes, to generate light, the driver circuit provides a stable power supply to the light source, enabling dimming, color control, TTL and analog control output functions. It integrates multiple components, including the light source, optics, electronics, and thermal management, into a compact and efficient unit. Solid-state light engines are widely used in various applications due to their high efficiency, durability, and versatility. 
Solid-state light engines are widely used in modern solid-state illumination markets, such as microscopes and other life science applications. Different SLE models are primarily distinguished by their spectral output. It provides light source output for excitation of GFP/FITC, DAPI,YFP, mCherry, Cy3, Cy5, and spectrally similar fluorophores.
